And I've done it!! Yeah!!
I didn't really have to buy much; since I got most of the materials right here at home. But I got myself three cacti and some white pebbles (refer to the picture above).Things that we will need are:
- plants (you can choose whatever you want.Make sure it's small enough, though. For now I chose cactus.Easier to handle and I won't need to water it often.)
- a bowl, a vase or anything to put in the plants.
- Pebbles, riverstones (for drainage)
- Some soil (I added some sands too, just to add in some varieties)
- Charcoals
The first stage would be to put in some stones and pebbles for draining purpose. I used an old small aquarium and a glass~
The second stage would be to put in some charcoals. Charcoals will absorb excessive water which is necessary since my aquarium doesn't have any drain holes beneath it.
As you can see, I got carried away in the process that I completely forgot to take anymore pictures after that. This is the result of my 20 minutes of swearing and sweating. I put some sands and white pebbles on top to make it look less messier.(I should have not chose cacti, I kept getting pricked by the thorns, sobs T.T) . Not really as cute as what I was imagining, but hey considering it was me doing the , this is pretty good. :)

the other one in the small glass. Got smudges on it , but I was too lazy to wipe it off. Some other times, maybe. |
My source of inspiration. I should try that too sometimes soon.
